Hello!

I am an illustrator and painter living and working in Pennsylvania. My hobbies include drawing, reading, wandering through the forests of Pennsylvania, and learning.

I graduated with a BS in Humanities with an emphasis in illustration at John Paul the Great Catholic University in California.

Art has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy every minute I spend with it. I find joy in nature, stories, wholesome things, and the things that make you smile. So, I hope my art brings a smile to you!

About the Art

Ilustrations

I work in multiple mediums to create my illustrations, both traditional and digital. My traditional mediums consist of watercolor, gouache, and ink. I love the softness of watercolor and the boldness and colorfulness of gouache. Combining the fluidity of watercolor and confident clear strokes of gouache is one of my favorite things and it's what gives my illustrations their style.

My digital process also combines fluid and bold strokes to create my style, but just with different tools. In digital illustration, I use the app Procreate on my iPad to create colorful and quirky drawings.

In illustration, my subjects usually focus on everyday people, places, and subjects and the stories they tell. I think life and people are so fascinating that you could never run out of ideas with them!

Acrylic Paintings

I paint on wooden boards, using acrylic paint, to capture the emotion and simplicity of my subject. My subject matter varies; I paint everything from doughnuts to birds. My hope is to put a smile on the viewer's face. "Pleasing and simple" and "wonderfully odd" are some of the many descriptions used by my viewers.
